Online Nursing Programs
Our online nursing programs are delivered by the reputable Saint Luke’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences. We are committed to preparing the health care workforce of tomorrow by offering undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate programs for adult learners. Our goal, which is aligned with the Jesuit education tradition, is for our graduates to be leaders-in-service.
Rockhurst prepares nursing professionals for clinical excellence through health care innovation, transformative learning, quality outcomes, and desirable specializations. Supportive resources and clinical placement services ensure that you have the necessary support and tools to thrive throughout your educational experience and succeed as a nurse or nurse practitioner.
Online Ed.D. in Education and Leadership
You can earn your doctorate in education and leadership in one of four specialized concentrations: Higher Education, Health Care Education, K-12 Leadership and Organizational Leadership. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion graduate certificates are available for all concentrations to increase your degree’s value at no additional charge. A STEAM certificate for K-12 Leadership and a Medical Spanish certificate for Health Care Education are also offered.
Strategic coursework in educational systems and policy, curriculum development, instructional practices and applied research deepen your knowledge of today’s modern educational landscape, with a doctoral capstone crowning the program. Within this framework, alongside skills in leadership and change management, you can champion diverse causes to make a tangible impact on educational practices in your community.

Rockhurst University and Saint Luke’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Nursing programs and courses are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education*.
Saint Luke’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences is approved by the State of Missouri to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). As a participating institution, Saint Luke’s College may offer online programs to students in other SARA member states without seeking authorization in that state.
The School of Education is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation. Business courses are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
* The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master's degree program in nursing, and post-graduate APRN certificate program at Rockhurst University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001, 202-887-6791.
The online ABSN program is $783 per credit hour (including all fees), for a total program cost of $46,980.
The online master’s degrees, dual track, and post-master's certificate programs each cost $765 per credit hour. The total total tuition costs vary by program as follows:
- $37,485.00 MSN-FNP (plus fees)
- $37,485.00 MSN-AGACNP (plus fees)
- $43,395.00 MSN-PMHNP (plus fees)
- $27,540.00 MSN-Leadership (plus fees)
- $47,430.00 MSN Dual Track (plus fees)

The online Ed.D. in Education and Leadership program costs $816 per credit hour for a total program cost of $36,720.
Financial aid may be available to our online students.
- The online ABSN is a 16-month program intended for full-time study. Students should not expect to work while enrolled.
- The MSN-FNP, MSN-PMHNP and MSN-AGACNP programs can be completed on a full-time basis in 6 semesters or part-time in 8 semesters.
- The MSN Dual Track can be completed on a full-time basis in 8 semesters or part-time in 10 semesters.
- The MSN-Leadership program can be completed on a full-time basis in 4 semesters or part-time in 6 semesters.
- The Post-Master's FNP, Post-Master's PMHNP and the AGACNP Post-Master's Certificate can be completed in 4 semesters.
- All concentrations of the Ed.D. in Education and Leadership program can be completed in 6 semesters.

CLINICAL PLACEMENT SERVICES
We collaborate with you to secure quality clinical placement sites that reflect your educational goals so you can apply what you learn in the online classroom to real-life training. Our dedicated placement team ensures that all experiences meet University and accreditation standards and that the sites and preceptors are approved prior to the start of clinicals. This service is included in the program cost and allows you more time to focus on your coursework.
