Biography
Dr. Gerdes is an RN with experience in cardiology clinics, telehealth, all phases of cardiac rehabilitation, and ICU. As an educator, Dr. Gerdes has prior administrative experience as an Associate Dean and experience teaching in LPN, traditional BSN, accelerated BSN, RN-BSN, and MSN programs. Her research interests are nursing students' resilience, artificial intelligence in nursing education, and factors supporting student NLCEX success.
