Biography

Dr. Merri Beth Means began May 2026 as an Assistant Teaching Professor of Education. She most recently served as the Executive Director of Elementary Education in the Park Hill School District. Prior to this, she served as a principal in elementary and middle school settings as well as a classroom teacher in public school and Catholic elementary school settings.

Merri Beth's research interests include curriculum design, instructional improvement, assessment, and professional learning. She aims to support educational leadership, emphasizing the connection between theory, research, and classroom practice. Her office is in VAN 323.
