Biography
Dr. Caroline Olawaiye has been with Saint Luke's College of Nursing as a faculty member teaching in the Traditional BSN and RN-BSN programs since 2013. As an educator, her goal has been to support faculty, staff, and students by ensuring they have the knowledge base, information, skills, and resources to meet their objectives.
In 2019, she took on the role of RN-BSN Program Coordinator, and in 2020, at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, she took on the role of Director of the BSN program. Her focus as the BSN Program Director has been promoting the college's core values, faculty professional development, undergraduate student and faculty instructional and assessment resources, student learning support systems, and effective student learning outcomes.
She adheres to Rockhurst University's core value, Cura Personalis - "Care for the whole person," which aligns with her values and purpose in action philosophy. "I find that those I work with go above and beyond in their commitment to care for each other, the students, and the community." As Director of Graduate Programs, her focus will be facilitating new program development, managing day-to-day program operations, overseeing the student advising process, monitoring student learning outcomes, collaborating with enrollment management, marketing and collaborative partners, academic support, and assisting staff to generate a prospective student pool, partnering with leadership for all accreditation requirements, and assigning faculty to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
