Biography
My name is Amber Roberts and this is my 25th year in education. I have taught various 6-12 science courses in IL, TX, and MO, as well as college courses as an adjunct at Illinois Wesleyan University, University of Central Missouri, and now here at Rockhurst! I currently work on 6-12 science curriculum and instruction in a Kansas City metro school district where I focus a great deal of my work on assessment. I also occasionally work with Missouri’s Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) on a variety of assessment components (item specifications, item writing, item review, scoring, etc).
I am really excited to teach assessment courses (7020 and 8050) here at Rockhurst University; I have enjoyed my time at RU very much and look forward to continuing to help each of my students work on accomplishing their professional goals through their growth and learning in my courses!
