This demographic shift points to rising health care needs for adults and older adults. Rockhurst University’s online Master of Science in Nursing–Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) program provides you with the opportunity to address the growing need for nurse practitioners in this specialized area of care.

Adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioners manage critical and chronic conditions in adults and older patients, diagnose health conditions, and provide quick and incisive care. Through complex monitoring and the development of individualized treatment plans, they also prevent future complications and improve the overall health of patients in this population.

Delivered by Saint Luke’s™ College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Rockhurst’s online AGACNP program can be taken on a full- or part-time basis.
